Stijn has been a lawyer since 2014 and specializes in international criminal law as well as administrative criminal law, including CBR-related procedures. In recent years, he has handled a number of high-profile and complex cases. He has a particular interest in matters related to the Dutch Surrender Act (EAW), which are often dynamic and subject to constant legal change. Stijn considers it a welcome challenge to anticipate these changes and ensure the best possible outcome for his clients. His approach is strategic, adaptive, and focused on maximizing legal results. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Criminal Defence Lawyers (NVJSA) and is registered in the Netherlands Bar’s legal domain register with criminal law as his principal area. In accordance with the Bar’s requirements, he obtains at least ten training credits annually within his registered specialization.
